It is dry in flavour with the sweetnessof the honey emerging in the aroma leading to a pleasing bitter finish

Celebration Ale / Cwrw Gwledd.  ABV 4.2%     ALL YEAR
Amber in colour,with an explosion of hops. The elderflower aromas are impressive with sweetish malt & more hops coming through in a satisfying finish.

Rampart. ABV 4.5%     ALL YEAR
A really tasty premium bitter brewed using a blend of traditional UK goldings and fuggles hops. The enticing floral aromas of the fuggles are followed by smooth spicy/citrusy flavours of the goldings. Dark malts give a dark amber hue to this fine ale and create a lasting memorable finish.

Mulberry Dark. ABV 3.8%       SPRING         MILD SILVER AWARD WINNER @ SIBA WALES & WEST (LUDLOW SPRING FESTIVAL) 2011
Named after the Mulberry harbours developed for the D Day landings off Conwy Morfa in 1944. Based on a dark mild, one of the most popular wartime beers. This is a tasty, quaffable beer with plenty of liquorice / coffee flavours balanced by gentle citrus notes.

Shipwreck IPA. ABV 5.0%   SUMMER
The Victorian era was a common time for shipwrecks in the Irish Sea off the coast of Conwy. One such tale of aship carrying barrels of IPA destined for India which was wrecked in the Irish Sea. The barrels were swept ashore to very appreciative locals who developed a taste for this particular style of pale ale. Brewed stronger for a fuller flavour and triple hopped with goldings to give the beer an authentic citrus hoppy flavour.

A Victorian style porter commemorating the opening of Telford’s suspension bridge in 1826. A really tasty winter warmer with hints of dried fruits, liquorice and burnt caramel.

St Davids Ale / Cwrw Dewi Sant. ABV 4.2%    FEBRUARY / MARCH
Dark bitter, malty in flavour with great tasting rich, berry fruits that complement each other perfectly for any St Davids day celebration!

Clogwyn Gold. ABV 3.6%    SPRING & SUMMER
A light, quaffable golden ale with plenty of hop aroma and a long bitter finish. A very tasty beer for its strength.

Beachcomber Blonde. ABV 4.2%   SUMMER
A delicious hoppy blonde ale. The beer is crisp, dry and refreshing with a delicate grapefruit flavour. An appealing ale for both bitter and lager drinkers.

Autumn Red/Hydref Coch. ABV 4.5%    AUTUMN
Our Autumn ale starts with distinctive citrusy/grapefruit aromas followed by a pleasant rounded bitter finish. The ale has a rich reddish, autumnal hue from using 3 different types of dark malts that lend a pleasing roasted/malted character to this fine ale.

Hoppy Christmas/Nadolig Hopus. ABV 4.3%   DECEMBER
Something a bit different for Christmas… A golden, refreshing ale with a really fresh, hoppy nose. More hops come through on the finish with herbal/lemony notes. A tasty ale – Yule be coming back for more!
